7 fold chair
Sustainibility has a great meaning in architecture and product design. With this in mind, this chair was designed to be made from steel, recycled and easily recyclable. The chair is produced through seven folds and eight spot welds, which minimizes the energy consumption as well as toxic emmisions through other methods of welding during manufacturing, and requiring no special tools, such as custom molds. The design is extremely sturdy, long lasting and timeless. Special thanks to Leon Pletsch and Can Çiçek for their collaboration and to Kilian Baumgartner in particular for his help creating the prototypes.
